The baby appeared to laugh as she interacted with him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The arrival marks Hayek\u2019s first experience as a grandmother within the blended family she shares with her husband, French businessman Fran\u00e7ois-Henri Pinault.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fran\u00e7ois-Henri is the head of the luxury group Kering. The couple have not publicly shared when their marriage took place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Their son is another Fran\u00e7ois in the family, but Hayek\u2019s affectionate name for him gives the newborn an identity of his own within that tradition.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hayek\u2019s close relationship with her blended family<\/h3>\n<p>Hayek has previously spoken openly about considering all four of her husband\u2019s children part of her family.<\/p>\n<p>The actress once hoped to have several biological children, but she ultimately gave birth to one daughter.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to <em>Red<\/em> in 2017, Hayek described the emotional difficulty she experienced when she realized she would not have the large biological family she had envisioned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve had that yearning, that longing, and that pain,\u201d she said. \u201cI always wanted to have a lot of children, and I was not able to. My body, as a miracle, had one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hayek explained that her marriage brought three more children into her life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe huge blessing I\u2019ve had is that my husband has three other children,\u201d she said. \u201cSo I have four. It examines trauma, revenge and reconciliation following an unspecified conflict.<\/p>\n<p>Hayek portrays Nina and stars alongside Demi\u00e1n Bichir and Juan Minuj\u00edn.<\/p>\n<p>The project reunites Hayek with Jolie after they previously appeared together in Marvel\u2019s <em>Eternals<\/em>. Hayek played the immortal Ajak, while Jolie portrayed Thena.<\/p>\n<p>Jolie\u2019s sons, Maddox Jolie-Pitt and Pax Jolie-Pitt, also worked behind the scenes on <em>Without Blood<\/em>. Jolie has publicly praised Hayek\u2019s performance while discussing the movie and its themes of healing and trauma.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A career spanning Hollywood and international cinema<\/h3>\n<p>Hayek remains closely associated with her portrayal of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo in the 2002 biographical drama <em>Frida<\/em>, which she also produced.<\/p>\n<p>The performance made her the first Mexican actor nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress.
